Come and join the Agincare family as aSenior Care Assistant Where you'll be working • https://www.agincare.com/home-care/extra-care-housing-schemes/tennyson-court/ As an Agincare employee you'll enjoy • £12.90 per hour • Refer a friend scheme earn up to £1000 • Outstanding career development • Fully funded training up to QCF Level 5 • Blue Light care discount package • Company pension scheme • On demand pay What is required from you? • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK • Multiple shifts available A day in the life of a Senior Home Care Assistant • Health and Wellbeing - You will provide support, companionship, conversation and engagement with your clients • Personal care - You will support your clients with bathing, dressing and oral care • Meals and domestic tasks -You will help the client to prepare and eat healthy meals, snacks and beverages. You will assist in light cleaning tasks • Mobility - You will support the client with moving around their home to enable them to live as independently as possible. • Social activities - You will encourage and support with trips out, social engagements and activities in the client's home • Medication -You will prompt, assist or administer medications and creams • Mentorship - As a senior care assistant you will support new staff in their induction period and mentor them • Spot checks -You will occasionally carry out spot checks and supervisions as directed by your Registered Manager About Agincare Were a family run business thats been caring and supporting people since 1986.
