This Senior Category Manager role in London is all about shaping category strategies and driving growth. You'll be working closely with national grocers to deliver insights and strategies that help the ambient business thrive. Client Details This permanent position is with a well-established global business, but a medium-sized company in the UK market. Known for its commitment to excellence and innovation, the organisation focuses on delivering high-quality products and fostering a collaborative work environment. Description • Develop and implement category strategies to drive business growth and meet objectives. • Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and sales data to identify opportunities and challenges. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to ensure alignment on category plans. • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to influence category performance. • Line manage one direct report. • Monitor competitor activity and provide actionable insights to maintain a competitive edge. • Prepare and present category reviews and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders. • Support the development of promotional activities and pricing strategies to maximise profitability. • Continuously evaluate category performance and adjust strategies as needed.
