A well-established multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in Oakington, Cambridgeshire. The successful Senior Civil Engineer will provide practical and commercially focused civil engineering solutions across a diverse range of public and private sector projects. As Senior Civil Engineer, you will contribute to projects involving building drainage, external works and civil infrastructure. Their multidisciplinary teams work across commercial, education, defence, residential and public sector projects. They have a strong focus on sustainability, technical quality and developing long-term client relationships. The Senior Civil Engineer RoleThe Senior Civil Engineer will support the technical and commercial delivery of civil engineering projects from initial concept through to completion. Key responsibilities will include: • Producing practical and economical civil engineering designs • Delivering building drainage, external works and infrastructure schemes • Interpreting client requirements and developing suitable design solutions • Managing project tasks within agreed programmes and budgets • Supporting fee proposals, bids and commercial project monitoring • Coordinating with internal multidisciplinary teams and external consultants • Maintaining accurate project, fee and progress information • Promoting the consultancy's civil engineering services • Ensuring projects are completed professionally and to a high technical standard The Senior Civil Engineer may also work on projects requiring DBS, BPSS, Counter Terrorist Check, Security Check or Developed Vetting clearance.
