Job description

Senior Conflicts Advisory Lawyer London, Leeds or Manchester | Full-time | Competitive Salary A leading international law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Conflicts Advisory Lawyer to join its growing Office of the General Counsel. This is a key hire within a highly regarded team that plays a central role in supporting the firm's global risk and compliance strategy. In this position, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, advising on complex conflicts and confidentiality matters while helping the firm make informed decisions on new and existing client engagements. You will also act as a senior escalation point, offering pragmatic and commercially focused guidance on high-risk and sensitive issues. Key responsibilities will include: • Advising on conflicts of interest, confidentiality, and related regulatory issues • Working closely with Partners and fee earners to assess and resolve complex matters • Supporting decision-making on client and matter intake from a risk and reputational perspective • Contributing to the development and enhancement of internal policies and procedures • Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team About you: • Qualified lawyer with strong experience in conflicts within a law firm environment • Excellent understanding of UK regulatory requirements, with exposure to international jurisdictions being advantageous • Commercially minded with the ability to provide clear, practical advice • Strong communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders • Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Due to the high volume of applications, we are not able to respond to all enquiries.
