Location: Newcastle upon Tyne Job Type: Permanent We are supporting a well-established business in the search for a Senior Data Analyst to join their growing Data & Analytics team. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytically minded professional to play a key role in delivering insight, supporting business-critical projects, and driving data-led decision-making. The Opportunity As part of a collaborative data team, you will work with stakeholders across the business to transform data into actionable insight. You'll play a key role in identifying performance trends, uncovering opportunities for improvement, and supporting a range of business initiatives through data-led recommendations. The position offers exposure to business intelligence, forecasting, reporting development, and emerging technologies, making it ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical analysis with commercial problem-solving. Key responsibilities will include: • Deliver actionable insights to support business performance and strategic decision-making. • Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. • Develop and maintain reporting solutions, dashboards, and performance metrics. • Partner with stakeholders across multiple business functions to understand requirements and provide data-driven recommendations. • Contribute to a variety of projects focused on improving reporting, operational efficiency, and business outcomes. • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Assist with forecasting, performance analysis, and ad-hoc business investigations. Skills and experience we are looking for: • Previous experience in a data, analytics, insight, or business intelligence role. • Strong ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings clearly. • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders and translating business requirements into meaningful insight. • A commercial mindset with a passion for data-driven decision making. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data quality. • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Experience working with reporting and visualisation tools.
