Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fund finance professional to take ownership of a portfolio of private equity investment funds within a highly respected international investment business. The role combines technical fund accounting expertise, stakeholder management, team leadership and the opportunity to drive technology-led improvements across the finance function. Client Details Global Private Equity firm located in London. Our client is a leading international investment management organisation with a significant global presence and a collaborative, people-focused culture. Managing substantial assets across multiple investment strategies, the business is committed to professional development, innovation and responsible investing Description • Oversee the financial management, analysis and reporting of private equity investment funds. • Lead quarterly valuation processes, including performance calculations and reporting to key stakeholders. • Take ownership of investor reporting, board materials and ad-hoc financial analysis. • Act as a senior member of the finance team, mentoring junior colleagues and reviewing their work. • Manage relationships with investment professionals, external administrators and service providers across multiple jurisdictions. • Review financial statements, monitor cash flows and oversee debt and lender reporting processes. • Drive process improvement, automation projects and data quality initiatives across finance operations. • Support new fund launches, complex transactions and operational projects as experience develops. Profile • Degree or master's qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline. • Approximately 6+ years' experience within fund finance, asset management, public accounting, financial services or a related environment. • Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies and investment performance metrics. • Advanced Excel skills, with experience using reporting and data analytics tools such as Power BI and Alteryx. • Strong analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills. • Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior team members. • Exposure to private equity funds would be highly advantageous. • A proactive, technology-minded approach with an interest in automation and process enhancement.
