Senior Geotechnical Engineer Reference: BY242973 Location: Sheffield Salary: £36,000 - £44,000 This geotechnical and environmental consultancy based in Sheffield are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their team on a variety of exciting geo-environmental/ground investigation projects. The Senior Geotechnical Engineer role will entail a wide range of responsibilities day to day. You'll be carrying out site walkovers, writing and reviewing factual and interpretive reports, completing Phase 1 desktop studies, overseeing ground investigations, project managing, training more junior members of the team and liaising with clients. To be considered for the ground investigation position you should have Geotechnical Engineering experience, with a strong understanding of geotechnical and geo-environmental principles. You should have a degree in applied geology, geography, environmental science or a similar relevant subject. You must live commutable to Sheffield, hold a full UK Driving licence and have a full right to work in the UK.
