Group Finance Senior Associate – 6 month FTC

£60,000 - £70,000 + benefits
Overview
We are partnering with a growing global PE firm to recruit a talented and qualified accountant into their UK Finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join a dynamic and collaborative environment, supporting the delivery of all core Business-as-Usual (BAU) finance activities across the UK entities.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly trial balances, management accounts, and month-end MI reporting packs
• Support the preparation of quarterly group reporting submissions and Board packs
• Prepare and submit quarterly regulatory returns for regulated entities
• Assist with statutory financial statement preparation and year-end audit processes
• Manage treasury-related activities, including:
• Cashflow forecasting and liquidity management
• Invoicing and payment processing
• General Partner share management
• Debt facilities, drawdowns, and intercompany loans
• Coach and support junior finance team members to ensure high-quality BAU delivery
• Assist in the design, implementation, and enhancement of financial reporting controls and processes
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function
Candidate Profile:
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years’ finance experience, including approximately 2 years post-qualification
• Prior experience within a corporate or investment management environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, FRS, UK regulatory reporting, and statutory financial statements
• Experience preparing management accounts, trial balances, and month end reporting
• Experience reviewing statutory accounts and supporting audit processes
• Familiarity with SAP and Concur is advantageous
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
• Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable approach
