Senior ICT Project Manager • Rate: £400 per day • Contract Duration: Initial 3 months, extendable to 5 months • Location: Manchester • Job Type: Contract, Full-Time We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in server migrations from an 'on-premise' environment to Azure Cloud services. The ideal candidate will also have experience with M365 and One Drive. This role involves developing, managing, and delivering complex, high-value projects and initiatives, ensuring successful delivery within time, budget, and quality standards. Day-to-day of the role: • Develop and manage the delivery of complex projects, taking direct responsibility for successful outcomes. • Coordinate and deploy resources effectively, identifying project necessities including staffing, financial, and ICT requirements. • Manage change effectively by collaborating with project teams and key stakeholders. • Provide strong leadership to project resources, ensuring clear objectives and adherence to deadlines. • Utilize business management tools to manage resources, project budgets, and expenditure forecasts. • Manage project risks through thorough analysis, mitigation, and contingency planning. • Develop and maintain effective relationships with senior officers and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication. • Maintain control of project scope through an effective change control process. • Manage all project documentation, ensuring effective record keeping and version control. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience in managing server migrations to Azure Cloud services. • Experience with M365 and One Drive. • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing complex projects. • Ability to articulate project objectives and ensure team alignment. • Proficient in using business management tools and solutions for project management. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. • Commitment to continuous self-development and service improvement. • Experience in ICT service management and strategic direction for technology development.
