My client is a London-based estates and management business focused on overseeing a wide range of residential property matters. They operate with a strong legal function that handles non-contentious property transactions, title issues, lease work, and broader support for internal teams, ensuring smooth and compliant property management processes. Description • Manage a caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion. • Draft and negotiate lease extensions, new leases, transfers, auction sales, easements, deeds, and licences. • Handle pre-emption rights, Land Registry applications, adverse possession claims, and unregistered titles. • Conduct legal due diligence on leases, deeds, and property title documents, including analysing title structures. • Respond to legal and title enquiries from internal teams and external stakeholders. • Contribute to departmental projects as required. • Update property management systems and coordinate information with other departments. • Support senior legal team members by meeting deadlines and ensuring the company's interests are protected. • Develop and streamline procedures to improve case management workflows. • Assist with complaints responses, ensuring clear, accurate, and professional communication. • Prepare materials for presentations, meetings, and filings. • Mentor, supervise, and support junior team members as needed. • Undertake legal research using online resources and internal materials.
