Description
The Senior Management Accountant's duties will include but are not limited to:
• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely management accounts, with robust review of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
• Take ownership of balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations, control reviews, audit trails and the prompt resolution of discrepancies.
• Support statutory reporting, external audits, VAT and tax compliance, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met across the business.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital performance, partnering with accounts payable and credit control teams to optimise liquidity and reporting accuracy.
• Develop and support the finance team while driving continuous improvement, standardisation and accountability across finance processes.
• Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including systems optimisation, process improvement, audit readiness and strategic projects led by the Group Finance Director.
Profile
A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:
• Recognised qualification in (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or be qualified by experience.
• Demonstrated experience working in a Management Accountant role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• A thorough understanding of financial regulations and best practices.
