Job description

We are seeking Senior or Emergency Practitioners from a Nursing/Paramedic background who are committed to working as part of our Urgent Care Team to deliver an excellent and caring service to our patients.    We have a multidisciplinary workforce which consists primarily of Advanced Clinicians and Emergency Practitioners trained in both adult and paediatric disciplines whom are supported by GPs.   The main patient groups are patients with minor injury and minor illness. Patients who present to the Urgent Treatment Centre are managed by our expert team of Practitioners/Clinicians with an undifferentiated diagnosis through a process of assessment, formulation of a clinical management plan and subsequently discharge or transfer for definitive care.   If you want to make a difference by becoming a dedicated and compassionate practitioner, then come and join our friendly multidisciplinary team at St Mary's UTC. We offer a challenging and rewarding experience, striving for excellence in patient safety, quality and continuous improvement.   As part of our commitment to you, we will offer and support your development towards advanced practice under the guidance of a robust competency framework via experiential learning and development.
