Senior Paraplanner Location: Leeds (Hybrid available after probation) Salary: Flexible (DOE) + Bonus + Benefits Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role An established, independent financial planning firm is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join its growing technical team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong paraplanner who wants to play a more influential role — whether that’s mentoring junior team members, shaping processes, or progressing towards an advisory position in the future. You’ll be working with high-quality clients on a holistic planning basis, supporting advisers with complex cases across pensions, investments and protection. Key Responsibilities • Writing high-quality suitability reports and financial planning documentation • Producing and maintaining detailed cashflow models • Supporting advisers with technical research and case preparation • Providing responses to complex client and adviser queries • Assisting with ongoing portfolio reviews and planning strategies • Supporting and mentoring junior paraplanners and team members • Contributing to improvements in templates, processes and technical standards • Keeping up to date with industry and regulatory changes About You • Minimum 3 years’ paraplanning experience within a financial planning firm • Level 4 Diploma qualified • Strong technical knowledge • Experience writing detailed, client-facing reports • Confident using Excel and financial planning tools • A proactive and collaborative approach What’s on Offer • Competitive salary (flexible depending on experience) • Annual discretionary bonus (consistently paid) • Hybrid working (up to 2 days from home after onboarding) • Full study support towards Chartered status • Career progression opportunities, including route to Adviser • Pension contribution, private medical cover & death in service • 24 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service) • Supportive, collaborative team culture Apply Now If you’re a skilled paraplanner looking for the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you.
