Job description

Senior PMO Contractor Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Senior PMO Contractor to join a global corporate organisation undergoing significant business and technology transformation. This is a high-profile role supporting the successful delivery of a complex portfolio of strategic programmes across multiple regions and business functions. The successful candidate will bring strong governance, portfolio management, stakeholder engagement, and delivery assurance expertise, ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to organisational objectives. Hybrid working 6 Months (with extension) Inside IR35 Essential Experience & Skills • Extensive experience operating as a Senior PMO, Lead PMO or Programme Office Lead within large-scale corporate environments. • Proven track record supporting complex transformation, technology, digital, or business change programmes. • Strong portfolio management, central governance, reporting, planning, and financial management expertise. • Experience working across global and geographically dispersed teams. • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence senior executives. • Advanced reporting and data analysis capabilities, including strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. • Experience using enterprise project management tools such as Planview, Clarity, Jira or similar. • Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies including Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid approaches. Desirable Qualifications • P3O, MSP, PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent certification. • Experience within large multinational organisations. • Exposure to regulatory, compliance, or risk-driven environments. • Experience supporting multi-million-pound programme portfolios.
