Senior Project Engineer

Senior Project Engineer£50,000 to £55,000 Senior Project Engineer needed for a leading Audio Visual systems integration business based in East Grinstead, West Sussex who are looking to employ an experienced Senior Project Engineer with an in-depth knowledge of AV systems, technical design, AutoCAD, construction project delivery, and systems integration. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-profile AV projects from initial concept through to handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. What the role entails: • Leading the design and technical delivery of Audio Visual systems from initial client discussions through to project handover. • Validating designs and tender information to ensure solutions meet client requirements. • Managing technical project deliverables in line with agreed project schedules. • Producing detailed technical documentation including schematics, cable schedules, rack layouts and projection studies using AutoCAD. • Managing Bills of Materials and coordinating engineering changes throughout the project lifecycle. • Carrying out site surveys to assess project requirements and installation constraints. • Leading technical meetings with project managers, procurement teams and internal stakeholders. • Producing site reports, photographs and documentation to support project delivery. • Supporting project handovers to ensure complete client satisfaction. • Providing technical pre-sales support where required. What you need to be the successful: • Minimum of 6 years' experience delivering AV projects. • Strong technical knowledge of Audio Visual systems integration. • Excellent AutoCAD and technical documentation skills. • Strong understanding of construction management and experience working alongside contractors, architects and consultants. • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required. • Engineering or Technical Degree • Experience with 3D design, Revit or BIM • CTS Certification • Experience with complex projection systems would be advantageous This really is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer to progress their career with a growing and innovative Audio Visual integration business.
