Senior Project Manager - Hybrid - Competitive Salary DOEThe RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a growing IT & Digital Delivery team within a large, multi-site organisation. This high-impact role will see you leading the successful delivery of complex IT and digital transformation projects across multiple business units. Taking ownership of the full project lifecycle, you'll be responsible for delivering business-critical initiatives, including enterprise technology programmes, ERP transformations, and wider digital change projects that drive measurable business value. Working closely with senior stakeholders, technical teams, third-party suppliers and business leaders, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards, while helping shape the organisation's ongoing digital transformation journey. Key Responsibilities • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex IT and digital projects from initiation through to successful implementation. • Define project scope, delivery approach, success criteria and measurable business benefits. • Build, manage and drive integrated project plans across multiple business and technical workstreams. • Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial and IT to ensure alignment and successful delivery. • Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, shape solutions, resolve challenges and drive key business decisions. • Manage internal teams, third-party suppliers and system integrators, ensuring delivery remains on track. • Oversee all phases of project delivery including design, build, testing, implementation, cutover and go-live. • Proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies and governance throughout the project lifecycle. • Produce clear and concise project reporting for senior stakeholders and governance boards. • Remove delivery blockers, manage competing priorities and maintain project momentum. • Ensure strong business readiness, user adoption and successful transition into live operation. • Deliver projects that provide measurable business outcomes while maintaining quality, governance and compliance standards. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years' experience delivering complex IT and digital projects within large or complex organisations. • Proven experience managing full project lifecycles with accountability for successful delivery. • Experience delivering enterprise technology, business systems or digital transformation projects. • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the business. • Experience working with third-party suppliers, delivery partners and system integrators. • Excellent knowledge of project governance, planning, budgeting, risk and issue management. • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced, changing environments. • Commercial awareness with a focus on delivering measurable business value. • PRINCE2, PMP, APM or equivalent Project Management qualification. Desirable Skills • Experience delivering ERP implementation or transformation programmes, including SAP, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics. • Experience working within manufacturing, engineering, industrial or supply chain environments. • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project delivery methodologies. • Experience supporting business change, process improvement and user adoption. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex programmes and multiple workstreams. • Experience delivering large-scale digital transformation initiatives across multiple business functions.
