Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager will work closely with the Programme Lead and clinical and managerial colleagues to develop and deliver the North Central London Primary Care Cancer Programme. The post holder will lead complex improvement projects that support earlier diagnosis, improved cancer screening, enhanced education programmes, greater use of data and analytics, and stronger engagement with primary care across North Central London. The role involves planning and managing multiple projects simultaneously, developing detailed project plans, monitoring delivery against agreed objectives, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The post holder will work collaboratively with clinicians, primary care networks, Integrated Care Board colleagues, NHS Trusts, local authorities and other partners to design and implement service improvements that reduce variation, improve patient outcomes and support delivery of national and local cancer priorities. Responsibilities include facilitating service redesign, supporting quality improvement initiatives, developing stakeholder engagement strategies, producing reports and presentations for a range of audiences, managing communications across programmes, supporting public and patient involvement, promoting education and training initiatives, and ensuring robust governance arrangements are maintained.
