Job Title: Senior Property Manager Company Overview:Clearview Recruitment are delighted to be working with our client, a modern and ambitious lettings agency based in Edinburgh. Built on professionalism, exceptional customer service and a proactive approach to property management, they have established an excellent reputation within the local market. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Senior Property Manager to join their expanding team. Role Overview:This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Manager looking to take the next step in their career with a forward-thinking business that genuinely values its people. You will take ownership of a residential portfolio, managing the full tenancy lifecycle while delivering an exceptional service to both landlords and tenants. Alongside managing your own portfolio, you'll provide guidance and support to junior members of the team, helping to maintain high standards across the department and contributing to the continued success of the business. Key Responsibilities: • Manage a residential property portfolio from move-in through to tenancy end. • Act as the primary point of contact for landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy. • Coordinate tenancy agreements, renewals, rent reviews and tenancy terminations. • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors. • Arrange and oversee maintenance works, ensuring repairs are completed promptly and cost-effectively. • Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance requirements or compliance issues. • Ensure all managed properties remain compliant with current Scottish lettings legislation and safety regulations. • Manage compliance documentation including Gas Safety Certificates, EICRs and HMO requirements. • Handle tenancy disputes, deposit negotiations and complex property matters professionally. • Maintain accurate records using property management software. • Deliver an exceptional customer experience whilst supporting landlord retention. • Mentor and support junior Property Managers, sharing knowledge and best practice. • Work collaboratively with the wider team to continually improve service standards and operational efficiency. Skills and Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years' experience within residential property management. • Strong knowledge of Scottish residential lettings legislation and compliance. • Experience independently managing a residential property portfolio. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail. • Confident managing contractors, maintenance issues and tenancy disputes. • Experience using property management software such as SME, Fixflo or InventoryBase. • ARLA Propertymark and/or Letwell qualification would be advantageous. • Previous mentoring or supervisory experience is desirable. • Positive, proactive and customer-focused approach.
