Senior Reinsurance Technician

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced insurance or reinsurance professional to join a leading Global Facultative team in a senior technical support capacity. This role will support brokers across a global portfolio, providing oversight of processing activities, technical servicing support, premium administration, and operational governance. The position offers exposure to international business and the opportunity to become a key technical specialist within a highly respected team. Key Responsibilities • Provide technical support to Facultative Brokers across a global portfolio • Oversee processing activities completed by offshore support teams • Review submissions, monitor workflows, and ensure data accuracy • Support premium processing, reconciliations, and settlement queries • Assist with sanctions, compliance, and regulatory requirements • Act as a technical referral point for operational and processing queries • Support bordereaux, binder, and facility management activities • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and system enhancements About You • Ideally 5+ years’ experience within insurance or reinsurance operations (flexibility on years of experience) • Experience gained within Facultative, Treaty, Broking, Insurer Operations, or Technical Processing environments • Strong understanding of insurance or reinsurance processing and servicing activities • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills • Comfortable working within a high-volume, fast-paced environment • OpenTwins experience would be advantageous but is not essential Package • Salary circa £80,000 + bonus • Hybrid working (2 – 3 days per week in the London office) • Global exposure across a diverse portfolio of business Excellent long-term development opportunities within a collaborative and supportive team!
