Provides assessment, planning, organisation and co-ordination of care to Endoscopy patients.Establishes and maintains the highest standards of organisation and care delivery.Provides leadership, support and guidance to staff in monitoring the planning, delivery and evaluation of individualised care.Provides supervision to junior staff and acts as a mentor and assessor and creates a positive learning environment for junior staff, newly appointed staff and students.Provides a working and training environment that allows all staff to perform their duties to the best of their ability.Carries out audit and research to increase knowledge and assure quality of care.Recognise the development aspect of the post leading to the acquisition of managerial skills to progress to a Band 7 role.
