Service Supervisor

Personnel Selection are pleased to be working alongside this fantast SME Engineering business, with a depot in Rotherham. We are recruiting for a Service Supervisor on a permanent and full time basis. Package: • Salary up to £42k (dependent on experience) • Private pension • Overtime available (rare weekend work) • Ongoing manufacturer training and development • Opportunity to step into a key senior technical role within a growing hire operation The ideal person has a strong mechanical background (hydraulics, diesel engines, plant or similar) and proven experience in the service and repair of industrial or plant equipment. You must have a full driving license, as there will be some off-site work involved. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing their customers with an excellent service, so the ability to communicate effectively is required. This could be a great opportunity for someone with some experience in a supervisory / team leader role, looking for the opportunity to advance their career. The role will include: • Carry out service, repair, fault finding, and refurbishment of hire fleet equipment • Prepare and inspect units before and after hire, ensuring reliability and safety • Lead by example in the workshop, setting the standard for quality of work and productivity • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and engine-related faults This role is vacant now and we are looking forward to receiving applications ASAP!
