ServiceNow Consultant - CMDB Product Manager Marshall Wolfe are hiring on behalf of a leading financial services organisation, who are seeking an experienced CMDB Product Manager to drive the strategy, governance and continuous improvement of its Configuration Management Database (CMDB) capability within a large-scale IT Service Management environment. This role can be based in Northampton, Knutsford, Manchester or Glasgow. The Role You will work closely with technology teams and stakeholders to optimise IT service management processes, improve service delivery, and ensure CMDB data quality and governance standards are maintained. This role combines product ownership, strategic leadership, and deep ServiceNow expertise to support enterprise-wide technology services. Key Responsibilities • Own and evolve the CMDB product roadmap, backlog and delivery plans. • Drive continuous improvement across IT Service Management processes and standards. • Develop KPIs, reporting and management information to measure CMDB effectiveness. • Improve data governance, compliance monitoring, risk management and control frameworks. • Produce and maintain process documentation, training materials and operational standards. • Collaborate across technology, architecture and service management functions to align capabilities with business objectives. Essential Skills & Experience • Extensive ServiceNow CMDB experience, including CSDM, ITOM Discovery and IRE policy design. • Strong product ownership experience within Agile environments, including backlog management, release planning and OKR delivery. • Proven expertise in data governance, data quality management, lineage, attestations and compliance monitoring. • Experience leading cross-functional teams, technology stakeholders and third-party vendors. • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and risk management capabilities. Desirable Experience • Integration of CMDB with ITAM, SAM and HAM solutions. • Knowledge of Change Management, Vulnerability Management and Identity & Access Management (IAM). • Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture, Technology Reference Models (TRM) and role-based access controls.
