Sewing Machinist

Breeze House Designs Ltd is a leading manufacturer of premium made-to-measure textile products. Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join our production team in Leek, Staffordshire. As a Sewing Machinist, you'll be responsible for manufacturing bespoke textile products using industrial sewing machines, ensuring every item meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. What you'll be doing: • Operating industrial sewing machines to manufacture made-to-measure textile products. • Reading and interpreting job sheets and production specifications. • Measuring, preparing and sewing fabrics accurately. • Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. • Reporting any quality issues, damaged materials or machine faults. • Carrying out basic cleaning and maintenance of sewing equipment. • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area. • Working efficiently to achieve production targets while maintaining quality. • Following company procedures and health & safety requirements. • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure customer orders are completed on time.
