Job description

• Forensic examinations and obtaining forensic exhibits. • Develop Forensic strategies according to FFLM guidelines. • Actively working in partnership with external MDTs and Police. • Point of contact for Police and Social Services to discuss referral pathways. • Undertaking holistic assessments including sexual health, mental health, and safeguarding. • Supporting the continued quality improvement of the service. • Working under the Forensic Science Regulator requirements. • Obtaining consent for Health and Forensic procedures Mountain Healthcare will support you with the following: • Contribution from Mountain Healthcare for Medical Malpractice Insurance • Full funding for courses and exams leading up to full Membership of the Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine in Sexual Offence Medicine • Access to online appraisal software for re-validation • Full Funding for courses required for work, e.g FMERSA • Access to in hours appraisers, clinical mentors & clinical directors to support your career development and well-being. • Travel for training days will also be a requirement of this role.
