The group is a well established producer to the European markets and have been established over 30 years. The site in Preston is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this secure organisation. Key Skills • Apprentice Trained Engineer • Experience of PLC’s & Automated Machinery • Understanding of PPM Systems The Role • Corrugators • Material handling conveyor systems (palletisers, strappers, and wrappers) • Box converting lines which have print units, cutting units, stacking, and folding • PLC Faulting finding You will have served a minimum of ideally a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, working on conveyors, inverters, drives, sensors, plastics or insulation machines, packaging machines, motors, print units, cutting units, stacking, and folding machines. On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for all production equipment including compliance with Health & Safety policies are met and any maintenance activities are completed to the highest standards.
