Shipping Litigation Solicitor, 3+ PQE, London, £85,000–£100,000 (DOE). Join a highly regarded Legal 500-ranked Shipping team handling high-profile international maritime disputes with excellent hybrid working and benefits on offer. To apply or to register your interest, please contact Gemma Jones on or email with your CV – JOB REF: THE ROLE: This role offers exposure to a broad spectrum of shipping and international trade matters, including marine casualties, General Average disputes, ship sale and purchase transactions, port operations and emergency response situations. Acting for a diverse international client base, you will provide commercially focused advice across a wide range of contentious maritime issues. The caseload is varied and high quality, encompassing vessel arrests, Admiralty proceedings, unpaid shipping and bunker claims, bill of lading and charterparty disputes, as well as English High Court litigation and international arbitration. THE CANDIDATE: Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 3 years' PQE and experience in shipping litigation or maritime disputes. You will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication and client relationship skills, enjoy working collaboratively and independently, and have an interest in business development and building a profile within the shipping sector.
