Shipping Operative Location: Wolverhampton Pay Rate: £16.47 with uplifts for overtime Contract: 6 Month Rolling Contract Working Hours: Wednesday: 08:00 - 16:00 Thursday: 08:00 - 16:00 Friday: 08:00 - 15:00 Saturday: 06:00 - 13:00 Sunday: 06:00 - 13:00 Morson are recruiting on behalf of Safran Actuation Systems for a proactive and detail-driven Shipping Operative to join the Logistics Team at the Stafford Road site. As a Shipping Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality, on-time, in-full shipments while meeting strict industry performance standards. What You'll Be Doing Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Creating daily shipment packs using SAP, courier systems, and customer portals Liaising with couriers via email, telephone, and online systems Learning and managing a variety of shipment types (full training provided) Attending daily shipping meetings and working closely with Production Control Verifying dispatch documentation, materials, and quantities to meet quality standards Coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely dispatch Following strict aerospace quality procedures Maintaining accurate dispatch records and logs Ensuring site security by checking courier IDs and approved carriers Supporting 5S standards, housekeeping, and recycling processes What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who is: Computer literate (essential) Highly detail-oriented with strong accuracy Well organised with effective time management skills A clear and confident communicator (email and phone) Calm under pressure and able to use initiative Reliable with excellent timekeeping Flexible, team-focused, and with a positive "can do" attitude If you’re interested in this opportunity, please apply or email a copy of your CV to with the subject "Shipping Safran"
