Shop Fitter

Our client, a growing business within the construction and trade industry, based in Tewkesbury, has an exciting new opportunity for Shop Fitters to join their team on a full time, temp-to-perm basis due to business growth. The successful Shop Fitter should have: ·CSCS Green Labour Card (Essential) ·Full Driving Licence (Essential), with experience of driving on UK roads in commercial long wheelbase "sprinter" type vans. ·IOSH Managing Safely Course and other General Health & Safety Training (Desirable) ·Ideally a trade skill e.g. Woodworking, metalworking ·A good level of proficiency in written and spoken English. In this role, the Shop Fitter will be responsible for: ·Install POS equipment - Carry out all pointofsale installations according to briefs and weekly schedules, ensuring accuracy and quality on site. ·Prepare and manage materials - Collect, load, and protect products from the warehouse or site deliveries; ensure all parts are accounted for and returned paperwork/materials are completed. ·Conduct site tasks - Complete site surveys, work with supporting fitters/subcontractors, and provide realtime progress updates to the Operations Team. ·Maintain reporting and compliance - Log working hours in the Field Reporting System (FRS), submit weekly timesheets, upload required photos, and attend all briefs and product training. ·Care for company vehicle - Ensure the company vehicle is kept safe, clean, and wellmaintained, including regular condition reporting through FRS. Our client is offering the successful Shop Fitter a hourly rate of £14.50 per hour plus benefits including holiday allowance, offered on a temp-to-permanent basis. Use of a company vehicle, accommodation and subsistence allowances are also included when working away from home.
