Site HSE AdvisorLocation: Point of Ayr, North Wales Contract: Full-time Contractor (Outside IR35), Competitive Day Rate Start Date: ASAP Recruitment ARM is recruiting for an experienced Site HSE Advisor to join a major energy infrastructure project supporting decommissioning and carbon capture activities. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance throughout the engineering, procurement, installation and construction (EPIC) phases of a high-profile project. Key Responsibilities • Promote a positive health, safety and environmental culture across the site through workforce engagement and training. • Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits and site monitoring activities. • Monitor subcontractor compliance with project HSE requirements. • Ensure equipment and site activities comply with relevant legislation and project standards. • Prepare, review and support risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and safe systems of work. • Oversee Permit to Work (PTW) processes and hazardous material controls. • Monitor and report HSE performance, including KPIs and leading indicators. • Support incident investigations, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote environmental compliance throughout the project. About YouYou will be an experienced HSE professional with a strong background in the Oil & Gas or major construction sector. Essential requirements: • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent HSE qualification. • Qualification in Health & Safety, Engineering or a related discipline. • Several years' experience within the Oil & Gas industry. • Experience supporting onshore construction projects. • Knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM). • Experience with site surveys, investigations and construction safety management. • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. • Ability to work independently while supporting project teams to achieve high HSE standards.
