Site Manager – High-End Residential Refurbishment
Location: Primrose Hill, North West London
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
An established London-based main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a high-end residential refurbishment project in Primrose Hill, North West London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Site Manager, Refurbishment Site Manager or Fit Out Site Manager with experience delivering high-quality projects within the luxury residential sector.
You will work as part of an experienced site team alongside other Site Managers, reporting into a Project Manager and taking responsibility for the successful delivery of subcontractor packages, site coordination and quality control.
A key focus of this role will be managing subcontractors and coordinating M&E packages, ensuring mechanical and electrical installations are delivered safely, correctly and in line with the construction programme.
Responsibilities:
• Managing day-to-day site operations and coordinating subcontractor activities.
• Supervising subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely and to the required quality standards.
• Managing M&E subcontractors, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing packages.
• Coordinating M&E installation sequences alongside other construction trades.
• Overseeing works from first fix services through to second fix and final finishes.
• Reviewing subcontractor RAMS and ensuring compliance with health & safety requirements.
• Carrying out regular site inspections and quality checks.
• Monitoring progress and reporting updates to the Project Manager.
• Liaising with subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team.
• Ensuring the project is delivered on programme and to client expectations.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential refurbishment, luxury residential, high-end fit out or similar projects.
• Strong subcontractor management experience.
• Good understanding of M&E coordination and building services.
• Experience overseeing M&E subcontractors and managing service installation phases.
• Experience taking projects through first fix, second fix and completion stages.
• Ability to understand drawings, programmes and subcontractor requirements.
• Strong understanding of RAMS, site supervision and health & safety procedures.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
