Social Worker - Fostering - Peterborough City Council

Our client, Peterborough City Council is seeking an agency social worker for its Fostering team. This post will last at least 3 months. And it’s paid at £39 per hour. The role will involve the following: • Supervising Social Worker – Fostering • £39ph Umbrella • 37 hours per week • Sand Martin House (1 day in office) • Supervise a caseload of up to 15 Fostering households. • Carry out monthly supervisions, offer support, attend meetings, including Child Care Reviews, placement planning meetings. • Complete Foster Carer annual reviews • Support the placement team on a day duty rota • Complete checks and risk assessments • Work alongside children’s social work teams and education and clinical team. Requirements of the role: • Qualified Social Worker • Fully Social Work England registered • 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules) • Must have significant experience in Fostering social work Please apply online or contact Lindsey Morgan asap to discuss in more detail.
