Software DeveloperThe RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Software Developer to join a growing Technology team based in Norwich. This is a hybrid role, with 4 days per week in the office, offering the chance to work on a portfolio of 25+ global news and events websites used by millions of people worldwide. Working within a collaborative development team, you'll be involved in building new features, enhancing existing applications, developing third-party integrations and contributing to the ongoing evolution of the company's Content Management System. You'll work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that support the wider business. What we're looking forThe ideal candidate will have commercial experience developing web applications using PHP and Laravel, alongside experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL and JavaScript. You'll be confident using GitHub for version control and Docker as part of your development workflow. You'll enjoy solving technical challenges, writing clean and maintainable code, and working collaboratively within an Agile environment. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement are essential.
