alary: Competitive + Excellent Tips + Staff Benefits + Career Progression About the RoleAn exceptional opportunity has arisen for a passionate and talented Sous Chef to join a prestigious Michelin Star / Fine Dining / AA Rosette kitchen. Working alongside an award-winning Head Chef, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding dining experiences while maintaining the highest culinary standards. This position is ideal for an experienced Sous Chef looking to develop within a high-performance kitchen focused on precision, creativity, and excellence. Key Responsibilities • Support the Head Chef in the daily operation of the kitchen. • Prepare, cook and present dishes to Michelin Star / AA Rosette standards. • Lead and motivate the kitchen team during service. • Supervise and train Junior Sous Chefs, Chef de Parties and Commis Chefs. • Ensure consistency, quality and presentation of every dish. • Assist with menu development and seasonal specials. • Manage stock control, ordering and supplier relationships. • Minimise food waste while maintaining GP targets. • Ensure full compliance with Food Hygiene, HACCP and Health & Safety regulations. • Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen. • Step into the Head Chef role during periods of absence. Candidate Requirements • Previous experience as a Sous Chef within a Michelin Star, AA Rosette or luxury Fine Dining restaurant. • Strong knowledge of classical and modern cooking techniques. • Excellent leadership and communication skills. • Passion for producing exceptional food using premium seasonal ingredients. • Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen. • High attention to detail and consistency. • Strong organisational and time management skills. • Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations. • A positive attitude with a genuine desire to develop and mentor others. Working Hours • Full-Time • 45–48 hours per week • Including evenings, weekends and bank holidays • Overtime available where applicable
