Spanish Teacher (Secondary School - Greenwich, London) A well-regarded secondary school in the Greenwich area is seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from September. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. The successful applicant will join a supportive and forward-thinking team committed to delivering high-quality language education and fostering a love of Spanish language and culture. Start Date: September Location: Greenwich, South East London Contract Type: Full-time, permanent (or long-term supply considered) Key Responsibilities • Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons across KS3-KS4 (KS5 desirable) • Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with school policies • Develop students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Spanish • Contribute to curriculum development within the MFL department • Support a positive learning environment that promotes high achievement and inclusivity The Ideal Candidate Will Have • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification • Strong subject knowledge in Spanish and confidence teaching grammar and communication skills • Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level (ECTs are welcome to apply) • A commitment to raising attainment and inspiring a love of languages • Excellent classroom management and communication skills What the School Offers • A welcoming and supportive staff community • Well-resourced Modern Foreign Languages department • Opportunities for professional development and career progression • A diverse and vibrant student population • Strong leadership support and a clear focus on staff wellbeing If you are an enthusiastic Spanish teacher ready to make a real impact from September, we would love to hear from you.
