Job description

To interpret clinical findings and outcome information to support informed decision-making, ensuring that recommendations and next steps are appropriate to individual circumstances and aligned with service protocols. To identify cases requiring escalation and facilitate timely onward referral pathways, maintaining effective communication with relevant healthcare professionals to support continuity of care and patient safety. To organise and coordinate community-based service delivery across multiple locations, managing schedules, resources, and documentation to ensure efficient and effective provision of care. To maintain and update departmental procedures, protocols, and working practices, contributing to service consistency, regulatory compliance, and the continuous improvement of clinical standards. To provide audiology services across a range of hospital and community settings, adapting to different environments and ensuring a high-quality experience for patients regardless of location. To participate in the development of specialist areas of practice through additional training and professional development, supporting the expansion of clinical expertise and enhancing the scope of services available within the department.
