Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nurse CiC)

To provide evidence based public health nursing practice that promotes and improves health and addresses inequalities at individual, family and community level for children who are in care and care leavers. Lead the delivery of the healthy child programme to improve health and wellbeing of children in care and safeguard children, young people, families and carers. Develop and implement structured interventions for children and families with complex needs including assessments, appropriate management of risks and providing professional and clinical supervision to other team members.
