day-to-day workflow within the allocated area, ensuring examinations are
prioritised appropriately and resources are utilised effectively to support an
efficient service. You will use your judgement to manage competing demands and
maintain a structured approach during busy periods.
• To maintain comprehensive
and accurate records using approved electronic and manual systems, ensuring
documentation meets departmental standards and supports effective continuity of
care. You will ensure confidential information is managed appropriately in line
with data protection legislation.
• To uphold professional
standards by demonstrating commitment to Trust values, promoting a positive
working culture, and acting as a role model for colleagues. You will contribute
to maintaining a respectful and supportive environment for patients, staff, and

• To monitor and report any
concerns relating to equipment condition, workplace safety, or operational
risks, ensuring appropriate escalation through established reporting processes.
You will support continuous improvements in service safety and reliability.
• To contribute to service
development activities through involvement in audits, research projects,
quality improvement initiatives, and departmental reviews. You will support the
implementation of evidence-based improvements that enhance the effectiveness of
imaging services.

development by assisting with the induction, supervision, and professional
growth of students, newly qualified staff, and colleagues undertaking further
training. You will participate in learning activities and maintain your own
continuing professional development portfolio to support ongoing career
