Specialist Lending Paraplanner

Specialist Property Finance Paraplanner (Bridging / Development Finance) London (Hybrid) Up to £45k basic + Bonus Our client is a specialist private finance firm working across complex property and business finance cases. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced paraplanner or underwriter to join their team - someone who thrives in a technical, research-led environment and takes real ownership of deal structuring from the front end. This is not a case management role. Day-to-day admin and pipeline tracking is handled separately - you'll be focused squarely on the intellectual work: researching the market, structuring deals, and packaging cases with precision. What you'll be doing: • Structuring deals and conducting in-depth lender market research to identify the most appropriate solutions for complex cases • Approaching lenders for terms across bridging and development finance cases, and managing those lender relationships through to indicative offer • Running development finance deals from initial enquiry through to full assessment, including appraisal, feasibility, and GDV analysis • Reviewing documentation and underwriting cases internally, ensuring robust credit narratives before submission • Conducting EBITDA analysis and assessing borrowing capacity for healthcare and business finance cases What we're looking for: • Experience in bridging and/or development finance • Strong credit and underwriting instincts • Solid lender market knowledge across the UK • Confident with EBITDA and commercial analysis • Meticulous attention to detail If you're someone who enjoys the technical side of structured finance, researching lenders, stress-testing deals, and building credit cases from scratch – Get in touch for more information.
