Participates in research and clinical audits in own specialist area.To provide nursing care at an advanced level and to defend patient groupProvide and assess the need for symptomatic and psychological support to patients bymaintaining close contact by use of telephone, outpatient and ward visits.To provide information and ongoing support to pre and post op patients.To participate in trust wide educational events and be available as a learning recourse.To assess, plan and implement patient care pathways with defined protocols and refer on asnecessary.Contribute to the provision of specialist training to nurses and medical staff.
