Specialist Occupational Therapist (22.5 hours per week)

The post holder assists in the development, administration and provision of a specialist Occupational Therapy service; carries a varied caseload of patients. Managing complex assessment, with predominantly physical conditions and with regard to the physical, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual and social aspects of their care. Directly responsible for the management of own caseload of patients with diverse presentation and complex physical and psychological conditions, referred for Occupational Therapy assessment, rehabilitation, treatment planning and discharge management. Assists in the management of the specialist team providing, developing and planning an Occupational Therapy service to patients for this client group. The post holder will act as a source of expertise, demonstrating and maintaining knowledge, skills and experience in this specialist role.
