Specialty Registrar (ST6-8) in O&G (Sub-spec in Urogynaecology)

The post is intended for candidates who fulfil the RCOG Subspecialty criteria for research exemption at the time of appointment. The programme is for two years but it is anticipated that the training time will be extended to account for on-call commitments in line with RCOG recommendations. This placement is suitable for Specialist Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology progressing to CCT and sub-specialty accreditation. The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMCs Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice. Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of application is required.
