Tradewind Recruitment is working with a friendly and community-focused primary school in Bury seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).
The school has a strong SEND provision and is looking for a candidate who can help pupils develop confidence, communication skills, and engagement within the classroom environment.
Key responsibilities:
• Delivering targeted speech and language interventions.
• Supporting pupils during classroom lessons and small-group activities.
• Reinforcing communication strategies recommended by specialists.
• Promoting positive social interactions and language development.
• Monitoring progress and contributing to pupil reviews.
Requirements:
• Experience supporting children with speech and language needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
• A patient and encouraging approach.
• Primary school experience preferred.

Pay: Higher rate of pay obtained through having Level 4 TA Qualfication
