Speech & Language Teaching Assistant Wiltshire - Trowbridge | Full/Part time available | £85-£110 per day | September 2026 Start Are you a graduate interested in communication, child development, psychology or supporting children with additional needs? This Speech & Language Teaching Assistant opportunity in Wilshire - Trowbridge is an excellent chance to gain meaningful, hands-on experience within a welcoming school while developing skills that can support a future career in Speech & Language Therapy, Educational Psychology, Teaching, Occupational Therapy or wider SEND provision. As a Speech & Language Teaching Assistant you will work alongside experienced teachers, SENCO's and Speech & Language Therapists to help children develop their communication skills, confidence and independent. This role is ideal for aspiring Speech & Language Therapists, Educational Psychologist, Teachers, SEND professionals looking to build practical experience The Role As a Speech & Language Teaching Assistant you will: • Provide 1-1 and small group support for children with speech, language and communication needs • Support children with Autism, Speech delays, social communication and language difficulties • Support emotional regulation to helping children communication their needs effectively • Adapt classroom activities to ensure children can access learning About You • Compassionate, patient and approachable • Passionate about supporting children with SEND • A confident communicator and relationship builder • Proactive, adaptable and eager to develop new skills • Able to work effectively as part of a wider team What we offer This Speech & Language position provides: • £85-£110 per day, depending on experience • PAYE - Weekly pay • Full and Part time roles starting in September 2026 This Speech & Language Teaching Assistant opportunity offers much more than classroom experience.
