Job description
You will work in a variety of community settings including
clinics, hospitals and patients homes to provide assessment, diagnosis and
full case management of adult patients with speech, language, voice, fluency
and swallowing difficulties
Newly Qualified Practitioners will work towards achieving
RCSLT NQP and dysphagia competencies
You will be responsible for managing a defined caseload
with guidance as required
Following your patient assessment, you will be responsible
for providing appropriate intervention and evaluating outcomes
You will communicate complex condition-related information
to patients, carers and members of the MDT
You will demonstrate clinical knowledge and effectiveness
by the use of evidence-based practice
You will adhere to National and Local standards and
guidelines relating to professional practice
