Sports Coach – Aldridge Are you an enthusiastic Sports Coach looking for a full-time role in a supportive secondary school in Aldridge? We’re recruiting a dedicated and energetic individual to join a thriving school community from Sept 2026, working with KS3 and KS4 students. About the Role This is a full-time, term-time position, Monday to Friday, 8.30am–3.30pm, supporting PE lessons, delivering engaging sports activities, and helping students develop confidence, teamwork, and a love for physical activity. Key Responsibilities • Deliver high-quality sports coaching sessions to KS3 and KS4 pupils • Support PE teachers with lesson delivery and activity planning • Encourage participation, teamwork, and positive behaviour • Assist with sports events, fixtures, and extracurricular clubs • Promote a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for all students What We’re Looking For • Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or coaching setting • A passion for sport, fitness, and youth development • Strong communication and behaviour-management skills • Relevant coaching qualifications (desirable but not essential) • A proactive, positive, and reliable attitude Location This role is based in Aldridge, West Midlands, easily accessible from Walsall, Brownhills, Sutton Coldfield, and surrounding areas. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
