Job responsibilities Consultant supervision will be provided for the clinical activities described above.Objectives:To enhance your knowledge and skills in: Breast Assessment and management of benign and malignant breast disease. Counselling patients with a new diagnosis of breast cancer, discussing therapeutic options, understanding how co-morbidities influence the surgical management. Engaging with the multidisciplinary team on formulating a treatment plan and working efficiently with other specialties, such as pathologists, breast care nurses, oncologists, radiologists. Developing skills in magtrace sentinel lymph node biopsy, targeted axillary dissection and axillary clearance. Developing skills in magseed guided wide local excision, therapeutic mammoplasty, and chest wall perforator flaps partial reconstruction. Participating in audits and research projects.
