Please refer to the full Job Decription & Personal Spec attached We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic nurse with a passion for providing exceptional care in the acute ward setting with excellent communication skills. Ongoing training and support in this role will be provided and the trust offers an excellent Preceptorship Programme to support qualified nurses. Applicants should have a genuine interest in caring for patients by delivering safe, effective and compassionate care in the acute ward setting for surgical patients with complex airways (tracheostomy and laryngectomy). To adhere to the main standard of performance for patient care, within the concepts of the accepted nursing philosophy, The Guide and good customer care. To carry out all relevant forms of nursing care without direct supervision. To manage a group of patients ensuring effective communication with the nurse in charge. To liaise with clinicians, other professionals and community staff as appropriate co-ordinating and maintaining care which will achieve the set standards.
