Job description

Goods inwards and Distribution • Responsible for goods inwards process, ensuring that all deliveries/goods (including stock, cleaning materials & pharmaceutical goods) to site are received, logged and tracked to point of delivery within the specified periods in a timely and efficient manner. Stock Management • Responsible for maintaining stock levels in stores, placing orders for stores and supporting residential houses, ensuring accurate record keeping is developed and maintained. • Supporting staff with Purchase order queries relating to Financial Operations. • Work with Shops management team to ensure appropriate access to stock required for shops. • Ensure stocks are stored and handled appropriately and correctly rotated. • Maintain accurate records on-line of stock levels and receipting stock orders as required. • Keeping stock records and pricing updated reviewing regularly to ensure accuracy. • Making deliveries across site of medical and housekeeping goods. • Perform regular and annual stock checks as required. • Providing reciprocal support to the logistics team as required to cover annual leave/sickness • Other duties as directed/required by Procurement and Purchasing Officer or Head of Department for ad hoc duties i.e. bed extensions (training to be provided). Procurement • Placing orders with suppliers as required for stationery, NHS orders, uniforms etc • Reviewing Amazon Business account orders, and reconciling approval from Financial Operations. • Regularly reviewing all Purchase Orders and Invoice Register to ensure prompt processing of invoices and closing outstanding Purchase orders, • Assisting on reviewing key, preferred suppliers to ensure value for money. Professionalism • Takes action and raises concerns. • Adhere to the policies and procedures of The Childrens Trust. • Maintain professional boundaries and professionalism at all times. • Committed to demonstrating the organisations values and behaviours at all times. Health and Safety • Adheres to all Health and Safety guidelines, principles, and regulations to perform your role and comply with The Childrens Trust policies and procedures. • Provide evidence of all vaccinations (or medical exemption) required for the post. • Adhere to manual handling procedures and complete mandatory manual handling training. • Promotes the health and safety of others. • Uses the incident reporting and risk assessment system (IRAR), to identify and report risks and incidents/actions if directed. • Responsible for identifying and mitigating risk within the work environment. Wellbeing and Emotional Resilience • Maintains a positive approach and outlook when dealing with change and overcoming challenges and problems. • Recognises own limitations, develops realistic goals, and uses support network resource when or if necessary. • Treats challenges and problems as a learning experience. • Remains organised and focused when under pressure. • Responds appropriately and effectively to all constructive feedback. • Motivates self and other.
