Information management • The postholder will ensure timely and accurate information analysis and reporting to management on agreed areas of work. • Co-ordinate the analysis, synthesis and presentation of appropriate quantitative and qualitative data required to support transformation initiatives • Be capable of reviewing data and recognising its relevance to workflow, quality and performance. Planning and Organisational Responsibilities • Contribute to the strategic planning of team projects, identifying interdependencies across projects/functions, potential impacts on wider organisation, resource requirements and building in contingency and adjustments as necessary • Take a lead role in planning activities and workshops to support transformational change, • Develop and implement data collection systems that will provide accurate and timely data. Policy and Service Development Responsibilities • Actively work with clinicians, managers and staff to develop an environment that promotes continuous service and quality improvement and ensures sustainability. • Contribute to short-, medium and long-term business plans, achieving quality outcomes. • Contribute to the development of key performance indicators for the successful assessment of individual, programme and project success. Managing Resources Responsibilities • Provide regular reporting on the targeting of resources and monitoring their implementation from a value for money perspective. • Evaluate projects/function within identified portfolio for delivery against financial plans through providing sophisticated, high-quality analysis. Financial Management • The post holder must maintain compliance with Standing Orders and Standing Financial Instructions and must manage any delegated budgets in accordance with agreed financial limits and appropriate responsibility for public money.
