Job description

Supply Chain Coordinator: 6 - 8 months Fixed Term Contract (Hybrid) • Job Type: Full-time • Location: Hertfordshire (WD postcode area) • Salary: up to £35k per annum We are seeking a proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to manage and optimise our stock levels and supply chain operations. This role involves close collaboration with suppliers, warehouses, and transport service providers to ensure efficient stock management and adherence to product safety policies. Day-to-day of the role: • Manage current stock levels and maintain accurate stock records to ensure all outsourced warehouses can meet customer demands. • Utilise stock reports and manage spreadsheets to track and analyse stock movements. • Manage day-to-day relationships with suppliers and warehouse staff to streamline operations. • Place orders for stock replenishment, liaising effectively with suppliers, warehouses, transport, and shipping agents to ensure timely delivery. • Assist with traceability exercises to maintain accurate records of stock products. • Support the implementation and adherence to Health & Safety standards within the supply chain. • Review and aid in the management of storage, transport, and import service providers to ensure compliance with product safety policies and procedures. • Ensure strict adherence to internal policies and procedures to maintain operational excellence. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience in supply chain management or a similar role. • Strong organisational, time management skills and experience with ERP systems ( • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with various stakeholders. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel for managing spreadsheets and reports. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and product safety compliance in a supply chain context.
